Bill Engvall made a living off of "sign" jokes. Jesus revealed His identity by performing "signs" and wonders, which John points to in the first half of His Gospel, but Jesus makes a distinction between those who need signs in order to believe, and those who have not seen, yet believe.
A royal official seeks Jesus out to heal his dying son. Jesus speaks healing into being and the man trusts Jesus completely. The Samaritan woman, whose existence is defined by shame and mockery, is honored by Jesus at the well. The paralytic who's been ill for 38 years doesn't know Jesus, but will when He's healed!
This week we turn to Jesus feeding the 5000 and revealing to them: "I am the bread of life." Jesus meets their physical need - with leftovers - but also reveals that He will meet their spiritual needs as well. Join us as we continue our journey through this book of signs.

Mission opportunity to serve meals in Tylertown, MS.
Last weekend the community of Tylertown MS was hit by two strong tornados. We have an opportunity to go there this Sunday afternoon to partner with Mercy Chefs and serve hot meals to those who are struggling to recover. We'll meet at the church at 2pm to carpool there.
We'll serve from 3-7pm and should return by around 8pm.
If you want to go you MUST register through the Mercy Chefs website.
Once the allotted number of slots are filled they cannot accept any more volunteers. If you plan on coming, register here:
